Good Vibes Going Out Into The Universe! | Bozeman Engagement Photography

This is a blogpost with one of my very favorite engagement sessions, and also a post that I’m writing in hopes to put good vibes out there into the universe! I’ll let you know why in a little bit…

James + Britt’s engagement session took place at one of my very favorite places, Cherokee Park Ranch! Britt used to work at Cherokee Park Ranch in the summer and she’ll even tell you that Colorado is one of her very favorite places! A couple of falls ago, Britt and James made their way to the area to attend some of their good friends, Sam + Rachel’s wedding… which I just so happened to be photographing!
James had reached out to me beforehand with a little trick up his sleeve, a pretty ring in his pocket and an idea! He wanted to propose to Britt while they were visiting! At the ranch, which he knew she would absolutely love! So James and I came up with a plan. James told Sam + Rachel what he wanted to do and everyone planned to do some more wedding “group photos” the day after the wedding up at the ranch. Britt and James showed up early to spend a little extra time exploring the ranch and ended up on a little hike to the top of the famous “Nancy’s Nipple.”  From here you get a wonderful overlook of the dude ranch and it’s where James dropped down on one knee!
After the proposal I met the two of them down by the lodge. We jumped in the car and ran around doing some more exploring and snapping engagement photos here and there in one of Britt’s most favorite places! The weather was a bit gloomy, but man was it the perfect lighting and the fall colors were just right! We stopped by and said, “hey” to the highlanders, ran with the horse herd and checked out the cabin where Britt and her family used to stay when they booked a summer visit! Now, you ask, why are you writing this to put good vibes out there into the universe?! Well, when these two were visiting, they had traveled all of the way from their home in the UK. Not a short trek! They’re set to get married in the most beautiful place over in the UK come this July and I’m making my way over there to hangout with them and photograph their most beautiful day! With all this Covid-19 stuff that’s going on, everything is so up in the air right now. I have faith that it’s all going to work out just fine, but I thought I’d just throw some extra good vibes out there for everything to work out for all of us! These two want to get married and I want to capture it in all of it’s glory. They’re two amazing souls with kind hearts and lots of humor and they deserve nothing but the best! So universe… let’s make this day happen for them!!!
