Bozeman, Montana Winter Engagement Session
With everything that’s been going on, this session seems like it was years ago! Andrew + Janison snuck in for their Montana engagement session and some wedding planning right when everything started to go down with Covid-19…. and I’m so glad that they made it!
Just being new to Montana, I’ve made my way up to Hyalite a few times already but I had no idea what to expect in the spring! I knew there would be snow, but I DID NOT know that the road would be somewhat of a disaster zone! I was very relieved to see the two of them pull up in a large 4WD rental car… especially since I had already passed 3 cars that were stuck and there’s no cell service up there. I had Andrew and Janison jump in with me (and Bixby, who I brought without thinking. She was extremely helpful and crawled all over their nice engagement outfits…) and I grinned and beared it as I prayed that we wouldn’t get stuck making our way around the lake to get to this gorgeous spot!
We made it and I had a wonderful stomping around in the snow with the two of them. They’re about as laid back as they come and I loved getting to know them and hear more about their Montana wedding plans at Foster Creek Farm! Unfortunately they’ve had to move their date around do to social distancing and Montana’s quarantine policies, but we’re all set to go this upcoming August and I cannot wait to celebrate with them!! And meet their little Corgi, Hoot!
