Alec + Kailey’s wedding was my first time at The Winding River Ranch in Grand Lake and my jaw hit the ground as we pulled up to begin photographing their day! This place is nestled in with some pretty spectacular views everywhere you turn. The snow-capped mountains that stood behind the two of them during the ceremony really were something else.
I had met some of Alec’s family beforehand when I snapped his younger sister Mickala’s senior photos up outside of Grand Lake about a year or so prior. I absolutely loved getting to work with Mickala and her mom so I had no doubt in my mind that I was going to enjoy my time with these two! They’re both as laid back as they come and their day went along so smoothly and turned out perfect. They went for a small wedding party that just included their siblings and the whole celebration was centered around family and close friends.
